
German zoologist, Ernst Haeckel, was the author of "Biogentic Law" and a strong supporter of Darwin's theory of evolution. Haeckel's most famous work is "Art Forms in Nature", published in 1899. His drawings from this book display astonishing symmetrical forms in nature, and the unity between all living things. His descriptions and images of flukes, tapeworms, jellyfish, medusae, rotifers, bryozoans, starfish, radiolarians, molds, shrimp, coral, and all other manner of creatures and plants are of the highest order.
